DAILY SHOWS AT 10:30am & 12:30pm
It takes a huge team of dedicated Chefs to take on Australia’s largest hospitality challenge, keeping the ADF running smoothly.
In the Australian Defence Force, Chefs play a big role in keeping the ADF moving. Whether in the Navy, Army or Air Force, a chef career could see you planning and preparing food in diverse environments and acquiring catering skills in modern facilities across Australia.
Come and see Air force & Army Chefs do a cooking demonstration at the ADF cooking display tent, showcasing their culinary skills. They will also be discussing with the attendees about how chefs work with other units and how they provide the meals on training and other exercises. Sharing experiences and the types of food eaten in the military.
In this exciting and fast paced role, you’ll work in a dynamic team environment to prepare a variety of food in a variety of conditions. It’s a job that serves well beyond the kitchen, providing good working conditions and better pay than most civilian chef jobs. Join without any previous experience and we’ll give you nationally recognised qualifications and all the training you need to become a Chef in the ADF, or use your existing hospitality qualifications and join as a qualified chef.
The Australian Defence Force offers much more than just interesting and varied work. You’ll also love our unique culture of teamwork, adventure and fitness. In the ADF, you’ll will be given the opportunity to see more of Australia and the world, have access to great sporting and social facilities, and make friends for life.
